Candle Magic

1. Color correspondence (always use the color with the corresponding outcome)

Symbolism is sharp as steel in esoterica.

• White: Purity, all-purpose, cleanliness, innocence, defensive magic, protection magic, healing, spirituality. Clears space of negativity. Always make sure intentions are pure when using white.
• Red: Mars, passion, vitality, courage, taking action, fire, fast-acting, sexuality, lust (Do not use on a specific target or will get anger coming back), attacking an enemy, causing harm (all energy returns to source), masculinity, male potency, increase sex drive.
• Orange: Mercury, speed, communication, commerce, creativity, intellectual matters,  memory, opportunity, legal matters (especially involving business), good to be used on any magic difficult to classify and categorize.
• Blue: Jupiter, water, peace, harmony, loyalty, fidelity, protection, calming, good emotions, love, understanding, forgiveness, healing (emotional healing), light blue is good for healing and defense, good fortune, expanding what we already have.
• Green: Venus, Earth, money, financial success, prosperity, seeking employment, good luck, physical healing, fertility, beauty, money magic.
• Pink: friendships, love, harmonious peaceful relationships, pink is red mixed with white and because of the purity of white it ones down the raw sexuality and passion of red and transforms it into something way purer, not a good choice just for sex but a good choice for a loving long-term relationship and seeking harmony with your partner.
• Yellow: Air, the sun, acquisition of knowledge and learning, it’s good for “gaining the knowledge of healing” rather than healing itself, great color for knowing what to do, or knowledge to be brought to you, its association with the Sun means it’s good for creativity and confidence, travel, taking a trip, any mental activity that requires concentration, inspiration, influence, and persuade, memory. Good to get rid of mental blocks concerning creativity especially.
• Brown: Earth, real estate, a favorable outcome for a legal matter, stability,  decisiveness, finding or recovering lost or stolen objects, construction, magic involving animals or pets.
• Purple: Jupiter and the Moon, spiritual, psychic, clarity, insight, astral projection, divination, breaking habits, driving away negative influences, wisdom, overcoming depression, power, ambition, royalty, use this color for expansion because of its correlation with Jupiter (Jupiter money candle), purple is the color of successes and breaking the habits and influences that hinder your desires, areas where you’re feeling stuck and trapped purple is good, breaks up negative influences and circumstances with power and authority.
• Silver: The psychic color corresponds with the moon, divination, magic, dreams, the subconscious, feminine color, intuition, clairvoyance, astral projection, influence (primarily through dreams).
• Gold: The Sun, happiness, fun, best choice for marriage, money, wealth, healing.
• Black: Saturn, Earth, is used to get rid of negativity, but unlike white that pushes it away, black absorbed it, the color black absorbed energy, banishing, binding, reverse magic, hexing, unhexing, eliminate obstacles.

2. Charging the candle with the intention

There are many tricks to directly communicate with the Unconscious.

• Wax is an impressionable material and easily holds a charge of energy and is a good representation of the four elements to the subconscious mind.
• Write out a “statement of intent” on a piece of paper about the size of a small posted note. Then set it aside.
• Take the candle in your right hand while focusing and visualizing our intended outcome as if it’s happening in the moment. Imagine the visualized outcome is going down your arm and into the candle. This is not something you need to force, you just have to be aware of it going down into the candle. Where attention goes, energy flows. You must be attentive to the candle and the visualization at the same time and intend for that visualization and energy to go down into the candle. Once complete, the candle is no longer a candle.
• Put as much energy into the candle as you possibly can (that goes with how the statement of intent makes you feel visualizing it at the moment).  Raise as much energy as you possibly can (music that corresponds with the intended outcome) just make sure it’s not out of sync. Spend several minutes raising high energy from the music and other means into the candle. (Speed King by Deep Purple was used to get a package fast) (Dire Straights Something for Nothing was used to get cash) Hav the music go along with the intended goal two help visualization and build energy to charge the candle with. Dance, rock out, feel deeply, raise that energy.
• Dressing the candle: Carve words or sigils into the candle assigned to the desired outcome. If doing a money candle carve dollar signs onto it, if for love the shape of a heart, try to use easily recognizable symbols if you can. Names work too of things you’d like to bring into your life or banish out of your life, ext. Just make sure to check the void of course and moon phase and don’t accidentally hurt anyone.
• Oiling the candle: Take an oil associated with intent and rub it over the candle. Such as money drawing oil, love oil, road opener oil (to remove obstacles). Apply the oil to the top and apply it going down the candle towards us clockwise for manifestation and apply the oil at the bottom and apply it away from us to banish counterclockwise.
• Other ways to bless the candle: Apply incense to it, freshly ground herbs (all must correspond with the statement of intent though). Take the incense and rub it all over the oily candle (in the magical way described above).
• Bring the candle and Statement of Intent to the altar. Place that statement of intent on the altar and the candle on top of the altar. Light the candle and let it burn fully (keep an eye on it spirits may mess with it). Say the Statement of Intent out loud then sit down in front of the altar and relax. Though we raised so much energy in charging the candle, now we just want to sit back and relax. Completely release all the tension in the body. Stare into the candle flame and begin to trance out. Meditate on the intended outcome as if it’s happening in the moment, as if it has already come to pass. Feel good about it as if it has already happened. Pus

  h the visualization into the candle flame. Where attention goes, energy flows. It’s not something we have to force or strain, just do naturally. Let it go into the candle flame, to the other side, through the astral dimension.

• Do not be afraid of the candle changing in appearance. It may alter a lot depending on various conditions. Just stay relaxed. Push it into the flame. Have a sense of gratitude for the latter part of the trance. Do it for several minutes, but once there is a solid aura around the candle flame and the sense of gratitude takes on a life on its own into fruition, it’s probably enough.
• Let the candle burn down to nothing. DO NOT LEAVE IT UNATTENDED. This is not a normal candle. Things may happen beyond mundane existence. Never leave a magically charged candle alone while burning. If it goes out on its own somehow, don’t worry, just relight it.
• Dispose of the leftovers. If it was something you wanted to draw to you, bury the remains in the yard. If it is something that was banished, bury it far off the property or throw it in the trash.

The Law of Least Expectance

• After the ritual has been performed forget about it. Do not think or reminisce on the Statement of Intent, or how you conducted the ritual. That is only for your magical ego/persona. Do not have a lust for results. Let the frequency released during the ritual go about its intended duties unhindered by conscious thought.
• The manifestation happens when we’re least expecting it. Let it go. Do not expect it at all or think about it. The subconscious mind has the connection to the divine and manifestation, so if the conscious mind is thinking about it, it cannot be absorbed into the subconscious.
• Magic always manifests as a surprise and not how we expect it and seems to fall in line with natural occurrences through coincidence (though magic is not always like this manifestation to an extent is).
• When done just go about your day and do other things because you have complete faith in the subconscious mind.
